About Me
I am a graduate of the fashion merchandising program at the University of Central Missouri with a minor in marketing. I love to travel, and I've been to 12 different countries so far; most of which I visited during the semester I spent studying abroad in London. When I was young, I was quiet and found joy in expressing myself through clothing. I want to be able to give the joy of self expression through fashion back to other people. Through visual merchandising I am able to inspire people's style and empower them the same way I felt empowered when I was younger.

Work Experience
Altar'd State / Merchandiser
September 2020 to current
My role focuses on the guest experience through visuals - product presentation, placement and outfitting. I use reporting daily to analyze my store’s business needs and identify merchant opportunities. Through this, I determine a strategy to maximize sales through merchandising. I utilize the principles of design to create aspirational mannequin stylings, wall-scapes, and tables. I create a vision for my store and coach my team to help take ownership of the visual integrity of the store. One of the ways I get my team involved in visuals is by leading them in executing floor sets and window installations, and then I provide them feedback to help them grow.
American Eagle Outfitters / Sales Leader
February 2020 to September 2020

Day to day, on the sales floor, I acted as the Leader on Duty, managing employees and driving sales. Through the evaluation of sales KPI’s, I coached associates to drive selling behaviors. I maintained visual merchandising in the store and performed adjustments as needed. I styled mannequins and the fitting room bars, as well as assisting customers with any styling needs.

American Eagle Outfitters / Merchandising Associate
January 2019 to May 2019

I worked mainly with visuals. I worked on floor sets; placing new product and refreshing the placement of old product. Executing visual displays on the floor and in the window, as well as styling mannequins, was another large part of my job. I also did some work on the floor, assisting customers.
Anthropologie / Visual Merchandising Intern
May 2018 to July 2018

My job included supporting the visual merchandiser when working with and placing products, as well as working with the display co-ordinator to help create and paint fixtures. I assisted with redesigning floor sets with apparel, beauty, and home. I styled and accessorized mannequins throughout the store. View examples of my work under "Experience" tab.
Express Factory Outlet / Sales Associate
June 2017 to April 2018
As a sales associate at Express, I helped customers on the sales floor with styling questions. I have also helped convert two stores to Express Factory Outlets which was a good experience working with visual merchandising. Turning an Express into a Factory Outlet is like a new store opening - everything is sent out and all new product comes in. I was a part of two teams working to reset the stores with new product.
Gap / Sales Associate
May 2016 - February 2017

I was a sales associate at the Gap. I helped customers on the floor; whether it's was helping them find an item or styling them. I also work at the cash register checking people out and promoting our brand card. I straightened up the store when we were slow. I helped unload stock from the back when we got it and put it back out on the floor. I helped do visuals and window as well.
